In retrospective, it made me appreciate a bit more these episodes which consted of a single frame with a lot of dialogue: at least that was more creative and entertaining than whatever they were trying to pull of with this movie. Gintama was an anime on which i invested a considerable amount of time, and has been with me since the last year of highschool. It easily became one of my favorites, and i ended up getting attached to the majority of the cast. I can only say that i'm disappointed with how it ended up being a unremarkable, washed out battle shounen. It was a great blend of drama and comedy as always. I would say that the parody scenes of a particular anime at the beginning was fucking epic and hilarious. Those madlads in the studio pulled it off. Anyways, it was a great conclusion to the anime. I am really happy I was able to see it in the theaters.
